Terms of Service

Ovoo is a product and service designed and developed by Nomad Studio. All trademark and copyright in Ovoo belongs to Nomad Studio. These terms govern your use of Ovoo. By using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

—Ovoo provides QR code generation, short URL redirects, and scan analytics. You can use the generator without an account; creating an account lets you manage codes and view analytics.
—We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice.

Your account

—You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
—You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
—One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account.

Acceptable use

—You may not use Ovoo to redirect to content that is illegal, harmful, deceptive, or that infringes on the rights of others.
—You may not use Ovoo to distribute malware, phishing pages, or spam.
—You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service in ways that degrade performance for other users.
—We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

QR codes and short URLs

—You are solely responsible for the destination URLs your codes point to.
—Dynamic codes can have their destination updated at any time from the dashboard.
—One-time codes expire after their first scan and cannot be reactivated.
—We reserve the right to disable any short URL that violates these terms or applicable law.

Intellectual property

—Ovoo and its logo are trademarks of Nomad Studio. All copyright in the product belongs to Nomad Studio. Nothing in these terms grants you a right to use them.
—Content you submit (destination URLs, custom slugs) remains yours. You grant us a limited licence to store and process it solely to provide the service.
—We do not claim ownership of QR codes or analytics data generated from your codes.

Privacy

—Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use data. By using Ovoo you agree to that policy.
—Scan analytics are aggregated — we record country, city, device type, and browser per scan, but we do not individually identify people who scan your codes.

Disclaimer of warranties

—Ovoo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
—We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that redirect latency will meet any specific threshold.
—You use the service at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

—To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ovoo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
—Our total liability for any claim relating to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to these terms

—We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above.
—Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
—For material changes we will notify you by email at least 14 days in advance.
